All teachers listed below teach mindfulness in or around Brighton and are listed on the 'UK Network for Mindfulness-Based Teacher Training Organisations Listing'.  The UK Teachers Network Listing is a register of mindfulness teachers who have been able to demonstrate (via an assessment process) that they meet the UK Good Practice Guidance for Mindfulness-Based Teachers i.e they are: suitably trained, committed to continuous professional development, hold appropriate insurance and are receiving supervision for their teaching.

 

Nick Diggins

Nick has been practicing mindfulness for more than 20 years and has been teaching mindfulness for 10 years. He has an MA in Teaching Mindfulness-based Courses and is an Associate Teacher and Mindfulness Supervisor for the Mindfulness Network CIC. Taravajra

Taravajra has been teaching mindfulness courses in Sussex since 2005. He is a teacher trainer both for the Sussex Mindfulness centre and the Centre for Mindfulness practice  and research (CMRP) at Bangor University. He also supervises teachers.

Jiva Masheder

Jiva has been practicing mindfulness since 1997 and has been teaching MBSR/MBCT since 2009. She studied for 4 years on Bangor's postgraduate teacher training programme before completeing her MSc in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy at Exeter University. Kavyashri/Kate Gooch

Kavyashri has been practising mindfulness since 1994 and teaching mindfulness since 2008. Ed Halliwell
Ed teaches mindfulness courses in Cuckfield, West Sussex, as well as residential retreats in Lingfield, Surrey. He is the author of three books on mindfulness, including Into The Heart of Mindfulness, and has been teaching full-time since 2010. He is an advisor to and former co-director of The Mindfulness Initiative, which is supporting the Mindfulness All-Party Parliamentary Group to develop mindfulness-based policies for the UK, and also teaches in organisations. Dr Bridgette O'Neill

Bridgette has been teaching mindfulness in Sussex since 2002. She is an associate of the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP) at Bangor University and the Sussex Mindfulness Centre. She is a Clinical Psychologist by professional training and is currently the Retreat Lead for the Mindfulness Network CIC.
